Today I had a great chance to help a friend of friend with a session. Not something I normally do, unless they ask for help. But after reading a article she wrote, I knew, just knew, that I could be of service and help. So after reaching out, we set up a time, and in all honesty, it was quite a session. Energy flowing, blocks dissolving, and light filling the room.

Energy work, such as Reiki, carries with it a vocabulary that can put some people off. For those that have had little to no experience with it someone telling them that they are going to clean and clear their Chakras can be a little overwhelming and often scary. The gentleness of the work that’s done can manifest itself in many different ways, from a greater awareness of your surroundings, to the reduction of chronic pains. But the real trick is being able to describe what might take place in a common language. The New Age vocabulary is getting more common, but still it carries it’s own baggage. Asking someone to redefine how they use words can be a undertaking, but if you have the willingness, you can watch the world open for you. So for today, I as you to pay attention to how you speak to yourself, and how you describe the world that you are in. You may be surprised.
